The five award winning works of the ACF-LA 2014 Composition Competition will be presented on July 15th at 7pm. "Steep Trails" will be performed by stellar artists: pianist Tatiana Thibodeaux and alto Carol Lisek. The other winners were Kevin Kelly, Mark Abel, Jeffrey Parola and Russell Steinberg.

On the evening of May 10, 2012, the Santa Clara Mission Church hosted a special musical tribute to St. Clare of Assisi, featuring both 200-year-old music written for the Mission and the world premiere of "Correspondence: Celebrating the 800th Anniversary of Saint Clare" composed by Leslie La Barre ’10. Simulcasted globally, the contemporary classical work was inspired by Clare’s letters to Agnes of Prague.
